The DUCATI 900SS "Final Edition"

Limited to just 300 bikes in North America, the 900SS FE is the last of the 2nd generation SuperSports to be produced by the Bologna factory.

Based on the 900SS SP, the FE comes dressed in elegant silver bodywork and black wheels, with carbon fiber rear fender, dashboard cover, and countershaft drive cover. A solo (monoposto) seat completes the stunning visual impression.

But there's more than just skin deep beauty in the FE.

To back up the race-bred look, a few additional changes have been made as well. The exhaust pipes have been raised to provide improved cornering clearances. New cast iron floating brake rotors have been fitted with remote reservoirs and adjustable levers. New cylinders, alternator, and voltage regulator have been added. The resulting combination will assure that the thrill of the ride matches the beauty of the machine.

To further secure it's place in the DUCATI legacy, the top triple clamp of each FE will be fitted with a consecutively numbered commemorative plaque. There will be no doubt as to the special position the FE will assume in the heritage of the most sought after sport motorcycles in the world.

The Monster's

M750 and M900:

Since it's 1992 introduction in Cologne, the Monster (Il Mostro), with it's radical styling, has created an overnight sensation. The list of enthusiastic Monster riders includes F1 Grand Prix drivers Damon Hill, Michele Alboreto, and Clay Regazzoni, as well as former World Motorcycle Champion Barry Sheene.

With it's short wheelbase, slightly raised handlebars and lowered foot pegs, the Monster rider sits in a position similar to that of a flat track racer.

Borrowing frame and engine technology from DUCATI race bikes, the Monster provides an uncanny blend of both sport and cruiser motorcycles.

Available now with 748cc or 904cc DUCATI power.

ST2:

Performance and Comfort with Ducati Style

The Ducati ST2 was conceived and built in the tradition of the "Gran Turismo" cars of Europe: a spirited combination of performance and usability.  It is the first motorcycle to achieve a fusion of the comfort and style of a sport-tourer and the performance and handling of a World Superbike Champion.

For the rider, slightly lowered foot pegs and raised handlebars allow maximum comfort for longer trips.  The instrumentation is all sportbike-complete with racing style tach and LCD display screen.  The beautifully integrated rear view mirrors feature partially aspheric lenses that permit a wider field of vision.  A Ducati exclusive.

The standard equipment saddle bags are roomy enough for gear and a helmet.  When the bags are removed, the exhaust pipes adjust upward for enhanced cornering clearance.  We did say "SPORT"-Tourer after all.

At Ducati, performance is a birthright.

The ST2's 944cc engine is the latest in the famous line of Ducati "Desmo" 90-degree V-Twins, now with electronic fuel injection and liquid cooling.    Mounted to the trademark steel trestle frame, the engine provides impressive power with an incredible torque curve.  Substantially lighter than most bikes in it's class, the ST2 out-handles the competition with it's potent power-to-weight ratio.

748/916:

Stating that the DUCATI 916 defines the "state-of-the-art" for superbikes is practically redundant today. The worldwide press has been using the 916 as the standard by which to judge all superbikes since it was first introduced in 1994. The DUCATI 916 is most certainly a superlative superbike, but it is also a great deal more than that.

For the truly serious sportbike enthusiasts it has become the holy grail.

The technical details will satisfy anyone's definition of what a true "superbike" should be.

Ducati pioneered fuel injection in motorcycles in 1989, and today utilizes the Weber electronic fuel injection system on both the 916 and the new 748 . The 90 degree V-Twins use double overhead cams and 4 valve per cylinder. Of course, the valves are accurately controlled by the DUCATI Desmodromic valve system. The beautiful, hand welded tubular chrome moly frame, the powerful Brembo brakes, the winning racing heritage; everything one might expect is here.

But as impressive as these high-tech details are, the DUCATI Superbikes are also objects of great beauty. The 916 has found itself on display in art museums, featured in popular media, and collected as an example of classic design.

The DUCATI Superbikes are meant for the truly serious enthusiast who is never willing to accept compromise.

900 DUCATI Supersport CR

It's 1972 at the legendary Imola racetrack

An untested team of DUCATI riders, and an unproven new 750SS V-Twin motorcycle are to compete against the world's best riders, including the dominant champion, MV Augusta rider Giacomo Agostini.

After a single lap, the two DUCATI riders take the lead from Agostini and command the race, finishing first and second.

That DUCATI racing heritage lives today in the 900 CR Supersport.

The 900 CR is powered by a 904cc V-Twin with 2 valves per cylinder utilizing the celebrated Desmodromic system.

An ideal combination of performance, handling, and exhilaration.
