Max Biaggi gave his debut at the Grand Prix of Europe ni 1991 in the 250 ccm class of hte motorcycle champtionship driving an Aprilia machine, but did not finish.  In the same year he participated in three further world championship races and his best result was an overall 12th spot at the San Mariono race.  In the 1992 season he was the main driver for the Valesi team which supplied ann Aprilia in the 250 cm class.  His team mate was his fellow countryman of Pierfrancesco Chili.  At the fifth race of the season - the Grand Prix of July - Biaggi achieved his first victory.  At season end he finished with 78 points as fifth in the overall championship.  For the 1993 season Biaggi moved to team Rothmans Honda, owned by Erv Kanemoto.  He achieved victory at the Grand Prix of Europe, as well as two second and two third seeds and finished fourth overall int eh world championship with 142 points.  In 1994 Biaggi returned to Aprilia and raced for the Chesterfield team with a bike, which was entirely painted black.  He won five races, reached 10 podiums in total and finished first in the overall rankings with 234 points, marking his first World Championship in the 250 ccm class.  In the following years Biaggi dominated the 250 World Championship class.  On Aprilia he won eight out of thirteen races in 1995 and achieved yet another title predominantly.  In the 1996 season he won the championship again, but this time with a mere margin of only six points to the second overall seeded German Honda driver Ralf Waldmann.  In 1997 he started again for the Kanemoto Honda team and won the championship again, this time with only a two point advantage.  His fiercest competitor was again Ralf Waldmann, who was even his teammate during that season.  The championship decision came at the very last race at the Australian Phillip Island.  Although Waldmann won the race, Biaggi - finished second - securing the World Championship title.  This is a new record: winning four consecutive World Championships in the 250 ccm class was never achieved by any motor cycle racing driver before.

Comes in a very nice presentation box with a short history of the bike with photos. You will sit and stare in amazement at these impressive die cast motorcycle replicas. Good stuff for you bike fans out there. Very limited.
